Supporting Ukraine’s orphans

Today Brooks Newmark visited the de-occupied town of Krasnokutsk, Kharkiv Oblast, to support more than 150 orphans with books he had sponsored, and gifts.

After nearly 15 months, UNICEF’s estimates that more than half of Ukraine’s children have been displaced by Russia’s invasion, with thousands becoming orphans. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, children have always been in the centre of Brooks Newmark’s humanitarian work in Ukraine. Having evacuated several thousand children, Brooks Newmark’s charity Angels for Ukraine has strengthened his presence in de-occupied areas of the country.
