Brooks Newmark Speaks at OxPeace Annual Conference

Brooks Newmark joined over a dozen of academic representatives to speak at The OxPeace Annual Conference of the University of Oxford - Learning from Ukraine: origins, impacts, and lessons for peace-building. In an important discussion during the conference, Brooks spoke about his experiences, realities and lessons of the humanitarian work in war-torn Ukraine he has been doing for over a year now. With his charity Angels for Ukraine, Brooks Newmark has directly contributed to evacuating over 30, 000 civilians to safety, including moving thousands of injured Ukrainian soldiers to hospitals in Ukraine and the European Union. Since Brooks Newmark’s charity Angels for Ukraine has expanded its range of humanitarian work, large amounts of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Ukraine’s de-occupied areas, and areas along the war frontline.
