BBC: “Ex-MP moving to Ukraine to scale up charity work“
As Russia entered the fourth year of its genocidal campaign against the Ukrainian nation - cities, civilians and vital infrastructure across Ukraine continue to be targeted with a tremendous force. Faced with unprecedented attacks, slow Russian advances and shifting US policies, Brooks Newmark is to move to Ukraine to scale up and strengthen the humanitarian work of his charity, Angel for Ukraine.
Having previously expanded Angels for Ukraine to all corners of Ukraine, he has successfully evacuated more than 35, 000 Ukrainians to safety, including thousands of medical evacuations and delivering tons of essential aid civilians living along the war frontline. As BBC reports, Brooks Newmark is now looking forward to organising and supporting rehabilitation programmes to help millions of Ukrainians who struggle with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) amongst others.
